7 Emotional Stages Brides Go Through Before Their Wedding Day

Planning a wedding is not a simple task! Just imagine the roller coaster ride that every bride-to-be goes through!

1. Excitement

What bride-to-be wouldn’t be excited? It starts off with sharing the news with the whole world “Hey, I’m getting married!!!” After that, all you can do is think about your big day! You can’t wait to start buying wedding magazines, making Pinterest boards, and searching online for wedding ideas!

2. Stress

Once you have that perfect wedding idea, the fun is over and the work begins! You start looking for your suppliers, fixing your wedding budget, and organizing your timeline for all the tasks that lie ahead.

It’s like, “Hold on, let’s take a break. I need a drink!”

3. Frustration

Planning for your wedding starts taking over your life, and you get so overwhelmed with the stress to the point where everyone and everything is annoying! Everyone is going to have an opinion about your wedding, and it’ll drive you nuts!!!

And you’re like, “Umm… Hold on, hold on!!! Whose wedding is this?”

Earthy Garden Charm

A beautiful garden wedding always picks up my mood, so I was particularly enthralled by this week’s feature. The lush greens and earth tones had me spellbound while I was going through the photos by Eyesland Photography. What I particularly love about Patricia and Edmund’s wedding is the care and attention that was placed into smallest of details. I could not help but notice the love quotes incorporated into the presentation of the pastries, the personalized bags for the bridesmaids, and the tree-shaped puzzle that served as the guest log. Workshop Weddings put together a simple yet stunningly detailed reception in the Beas River Country Club. If you’re looking for something to brighten up your day, this is it!

Truly, Madly, Deeply

I love a couple who know how to color coordinate. That being said, let me introduce you to Stephanie and Chris. They clearly know how do it right even going as far as matching Pantone’s 2016 colors of the year — Rose Quartz and Serenity. Their photographer, Hugh’s Hue notes that “where these images might lack in visual impact compared to those Pinterest-inspired-cute-couple-pose style photos, they more than make up in the subtle feelings and emotions captured and the authenticity they carry.” Wow! What a huge compliment to pay to the couple, and I heartily agree. Love is in the little things and beyond the grand one-day wedding, this will be seen in their daily interactions like riding a bike, eating ice cream, or simply sharing mornings over coffee. Truly, madly, and deeply is their love for each other.

Fashion Friday: Rami Al Ali Spring Collection 2016

If you were to be invited to a grand ball in the company of a reigning monarch, any dress from Rami Al Ali’s Spring Collection would be suitable wear. With the Syrian designer’s imagination, all the looks ooze luxury and refinement. A common design proves to be the cinched waist and a bell-shaped volumized bottom. The beading and sequin work is intricate as is the diversity of the fabrics used. Now, all we’re missing is the actual invite to the ball!
