I don’t know about you guys, but today’s sudden drop in temperature has got me wishing for a beautiful beach on a tropical island — much like the backdrop of yesterday’s dreamy Phuket wedding. Good news is we get to swoon over this gorgeous celebration for an extra day with Stef and Brian’s super fun wedding video by Daniel Baci! I always love seeing beautiful details in motion, hearing the couple’s heartfelt vows, and getting a glimpse of all the laughter and happy tears. What a truly memorable day this was, so get ready for a tropical treat!

Intimate Phuket Beach Wedding

I have a confession for you all today: I was not even four photos into this set before I let out an “Oh, wow.”  This wedding in Phuket captured by Darren LeBeuf is truly beautiful beyond words. Stephanie and Brian opted for something laid-back and intimate, and they achieved it was so much grace, class, and fun. The looming rainclouds miraculously left them alone the entire day, and they were even blessed with a double rainbow by the time they had exchanged “I do’s.” And as our bride wisely stated: “Nothing really matters as long as you are getting married to the love of your life.” I think anyone would agree that this is a destination wedding quite magical in every sense of the word. It truly made my day, and I hope it makes yours!

D.I.Y. Leather Ring Pillow

Ring pillows are one of the easiest wedding accessories to experiment on, since you only need one for your special day. Although they are a very minor detail, you can definitely use them to reflect your personality as a couple and also have them as a wedding keepsake. We’ve enlisted the expert help of Mo from LCM Leather Workshop to create a truly unique ring pillow made of leather. This is a super easy and fun project that I’m sure you’ll enjoy making. Let’s get started!

What you’ll need:

  • Cotton filling, leather puncher, scissors, 12x9cm trimmed leather pieces, leather string, tweezers, glue, box cutter, a ruler, and some satin ribbon (not pictured)

 

Instructions:

1. Take a piece of leather and apply some glue on three edges. You can use a toothpick to spread the glue evenly. Repeat the same for another piece of leather, then glue them together.

 

2. Punch holes evenly (with 1.5cm space in between) around the four edges.
