So once again, we’ve put together 16 stunning wedding and engagements from the year that was. Let’s reminisce together and remember what an amazing 2019 it has been!
With the unique palette, this wedding truly made its mark. It’s not often that we come across the colors emerald and mustard in a wedding. So naturally, the hues that filled the garden venue drew us in. The rustic vibe also made this union extra endearing.

It pays to go against the tide sometimes. This bride opted for an elegant ivory qipao for her Chinese pre-wedding activities instead of the classic qun gua. Her modern rendition of the Chinese dress made her look magical and still embodied the Chinese culture. For brides to what to change it up a little, here’s something to take inspiration from.

This couple’s pre-wedding shoot took place in an industrial site resulting in edgy photos. This is definitely something we also don’t see often so it was a refreshing scene and a new idea that we think future couples can consider! The bride-to-be wore a white suit, too–a fitting attire for all the elements that surrounded her.
Hong Kong is such an amazing city with pockets of places that can already serve as perfect pre-wedding shoot locations. For example, this couple shot in Man Mo Temple! You need not look far, trust us. You will surely find something suitable if you just open your eyes to what the city has to offer.
If you’re not a city-goer then driving out a little will also be a viable idea for a local engagement shoot. Tai Tam Reservoir delivered beautiful frames for the lovers. And you can’t deny that the mix of greens and stone make excellent backdrops for the pair!

This is one place we hope we can visit on our lifetime–Cappadocia! And now that this couple shared with us their stunning pre-wedding shoot here, we’re even more convinced. The hot air balloons were also a charming addition to the already breathtaking view. We loved every photo and scene from this shoot; you will too.
Taking inspiration from your roots is also a good idea. For instance, this couple wore Chinese traditional attires for their engagement shoot and chose a traditional garden as their location. They successfully embodied the oriental look. If you think about it, this is a really great way to honor your heritage.
This pre-wedding shoot in Perth surprised us with beautiful pastel colors! From the landscape and the skies, everything is a beautiful spread of blue, pink, yellow, and orange. Then, the bride-to-be took some snaps in a contrasting red dress, making all the colors stand out even more.

What a beaute this glass chapel on a hill is! In fact, we were stunned the moment we saw the soon-to-weds’ photos in it. Natural light fills all its corners embracing the lovers in a romantic glow. And we cannot forget the sunset along a beautiful cliff site. What a contrast the jagged rocks and the crashing seas are beside the immaculate white chapel–it’s a sight that you can’t miss.
