A Picturesque Wedding in a 14th Century Castle in Catalonia, Spain

Steph and James tied the knot in the most romantic of ways! They chose a picturesque 14th century Mediterranean castle overlooking the sea at the Empordà region of Catalonia, Spain, as their venue. Neither a global pandemic nor the more than a 10,000-kilometre distance from Hong Kong and Spain could stop the couple from getting married with their nearest and dearest. The day was filled with love, starting from the traditional tea ceremony, where Steph donned a stunning lace red dress, to the heartwarming ceremony and fun banquet that followed. Their wedding planner and stylist, Bodas de Cuento, ensured that every part of their day was made special. They strived to create a unique combination of elegance and comfort, evoking the romance of the Mediterranean coast. For the wedding details, they made use of fresh colours and natural textures, creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere perfect for enjoying the outdoor setting. And since the venue’s vibrant bougainvilleas already provided a splash of color, Bodas de Cuento paired this with a table setting in Mediterranean blues to match the sea. The icing on the cake was the Portuguese porcelain china that came with a pattern of blue flowers. Everything came together beautifully! Volvoreta‘s photos will not disappoint so scroll on now to enjoy the rest of this wedding now.
