Bet you didn’t think the government was interested in your wedding? Well, guess what, they are! The Leisure and Cultural Services Department manages and maintains these six different venues. They cater to all kinds of brides and grooms too. From a seaside backdrop, to an outdoorsy garden, or even holding a ceremony at historic sites, there is definitely a place for all the lovely couples-to-be to swap I do’s here in Hong Kong. Check it out!
1.) Assembly Hall, Lei Yue Mun Park
The chapel is actually a historic building that was modelled after 20th century European architecture. The park is also a scenic and serene venue that is surrounded by trees and overlooks Lei Yue Mun channel.
- Capacity: 120 people
- Operating Hours: Daily from 9am-10pm
- Accessible by mini-buses and other small vehicles

2.) Six Arts Terrace, Kowloon Walled City Park
For the history fans out there, this venue is rich in historical elements. This venue includes well-preserved relics and a Jiangnan garden style layout from the early Qing dynasty. Moreover, the space is a peaceful haven filled with gorgeous pavilions and ponds.

3.) Bauhinia Garden, Kowloon Tsai Park
This beautiful park is right in the middle of Kowloon City and is surrounded by Bauhinia trees. It’s the perfect venue for a scenic garden wedding.

- Includes two fee-paying private car parking spaces

4.) Lawn and Amphitheatre, Tai Po Waterfront Park
This location grants soon-to-weds with a lush lawn and canopied amphitheater. Guests can take in a panoramic view of Tolo Harbour atop the Lookout Tower. This of this place as a quaint garden wedding venue with a view.

Refreshing and very much like a mini getaway, The Repulse Bay Beach offers a romantic spot to wed. This venue promises a dreamy sunset scene aback the beautiful sea. Couples can choose whether to have the ceremony by the seaside pavilion with a garden area or at the sandy area by the beach.
- Capacity: 100 people
- Operating Hours: Daily from 9.30am-5pm
- Includes a seaside pavilion with an adjacent small garden and a portion of nearby sandy area
- Comes with one table and 50 chairs available on loan

6.) Sai Kung Waterfront Park
At a conveniently located part of Hong Kong, Sai Kung Waterfront Park provides couples with a private space with beautiful scenery and sea view to hold their wedding. The park also offers a number of vantage points for beautiful wedding photos.
