But before we get to the photos, we have a surprise for you. Today’s bride, Nicole, is an experienced destination wedding planner from Hong Kong. After planning and styling events for over 10 years, she put up her own company and now helps couple plan their dream destination wedding at Nicole Please. So for her own Moroccan wedding, her planning expertise came in handy. Today, Nicole will be sharing some destination wedding planning tips with all of you brides-to-be. Scroll on now to feast on her jaw-dropping wedding photos and destination wedding planning tips now.

If you’re having a destination wedding, just like Nicole, one of her top tip is to hire a Guest Concierge to treat your guests as priority. Even if you provide guests with all the information they need for the wedding day, a lot goes on from the moment they arrive. Having a Guest Concierge will provide real-time support for any concerns your guests will have. This will also relieve you of having to handle these on your own.

Another tip Nicole highly recommends is to infuse local culture into your wedding, just the way she and Christopher did during their welcome party.Adding hints of local elements will make your wedding legendary and unique. Nicole shares, “From folklore, to cultural entertainment, customize locally sourced items, embrace local brands and special gifting items are always in favor. It’s a perfect opportunity to celebrate in a picturesque and exotic element of your destination. Echo the vibe of the place you’re celebrating in. Combining local colors, traditions which your guests will remember for years to come and yet it can be all timeless. Bespoke experiences will play a big role in the overall mood and environment of the wedding.”

Lastly, Nicole reminds couples to take extra care when working with vendors from another place. Respect the local culture and be patient. This is also why having a wedding planner comes in handy. He or she can help mediate and avoid unnecessary misunderstandings. If things aren’t being done how you are used to, avoid trying to micromanage. Instead, try to be more understanding and let your planner help you.
