15 Ways to Incorporate the Lucky Color Red into Your Wedding

The color red symbolizes good fortune, joy, passion, and love in Chinese wedding traditions. Who wouldn’t want these things in their lives right? So if you want a little luck on your wedding day, we’re here to help! We’ve compiled a list of ways to incorporate it into small details and grand ones too. So grab a pen and paper and get ready to jot down which ideas you’ll be using for future reference!

1.) The most prominent statement you can make as a bride is by wearing it as the color of choice for your wedding dress or Qun gua.

Intimately Intertwined

Simple and intimate is how I would describe today’s engagement shoot captured by Subtle Production. It’s a no-frills, no-fuss photo set about Ivan and Tracy and the love that they share for each other. The snaps were taken in the morning with the clouds blocking out the sun, bringing a lighter and softer atmosphere to the photographs. I find Tracy’s bouquet of wildflowers to be particularly delightful as well. Scroll through, and let’s dream on a little longer for a love as pure and relaxed as theirs!

17 Illusion Neckline Dresses by Lee Petra Grenebau

Choosing the right gown for your wedding is always fun and inspiring. There so are many cuts, styles, and designs to choose from! For this week’s Fashion Friday feature, we’re zeroing in on illusion necklines from Lee Petra Grebenau‘s Mother of Pearl Collection. Illusion necklines bring drama and an ethereal feminine touch to bridal design. We love the airiness that the floating design elements bring as well as the body contouring silhouettes that are made possible by the sheer panels. This collection is especially intriguing with inspiration coming from nature’s ability to create beauty. The marble-like texture and hint of sheen in every piece create a dreamy vision of shiny pearls. Brides-to-be, you’ll definitely want to add this collection to your inspiration board!

A French Love Affair

Veronica and Timothy’s love affair began back in college when they attended the same university in Sydney, Australia. After their studies, they moved to London and continued their romance while enjoying the surrounding European countries. When it was time to pick their destination wedding venue, they came across the Chateau La Durantie in France and instantly fell in love with its grandeur and beauty. They were also were very fond of French wine and food, so they knew that they had found the perfect venue. Bare witness this romantic union as Claire Morris‘ photos take us through the vast greens and comely blooms of the beautiful French countryside. And please don’t miss the video by Zeni Filmworks at the end!
