The Repulse Bay Looks Extra Dreamy in This Hong Kong Wedding

Oh the flowers, so romantic! This garden wedding will make you giddy with joy. We are mesmerized by the delicate beauty of all the details in these photos! Kudos to History Studio for capturing them and a big thank you for sending them our way. Everything looked so picture perfect during Tiffany and Mark’s big day. But, we are hooked to three things after seeing all the snaps. First, the quirky invitation represent the modern day couple. The wreath design with the watercolor painted flowers made it truly stand out. Second, the decor was elegant and clean. The wedding place cards, which were butterfly shape, were very unique. Third, the portraits of the couple are so natural. Being outdoor truly has its perks. Read on to see more of what we are talking about.

Bridal Separates

Bridal separates are definitely in because they’re so versatile and unique. They make great quick fixes for an instant second look for the reception. This lovely lace set, a long sleeved blouse and trumpet skirt, is Bride and You‘s signature set. It makes an excellent piece for a vintage-inspired wedding, by the way.

A simple skirt goes a long way. Bride and You also shares that this New York flared skirt is a trendy piece that also makes its way to many weddings. The popularity of this skirt is undeniable as it can be mixed and matched with different tops (even after the wedding). If there’s one hot 2018 wedding dress trend that gives you options, it’s this!

Bridal separates are also a hit at Vis-à-vis Bridal. This corset top is a prime piece at their shop. “Mixing this chic cropped top with an airy tulle skirt makes a bride look effortlessly fashionable,” Vis-à-vis Bridal adds. You can easily get this look and even experiment with more with the pieces at their shop. Really, creating different looks with bridal separates is all brides ever need this 2018!

Deep Necklines

Brides today are more attuned to their femininity and their body. Hence, we see many brides taking the plunge and going for deeper necklines. This style is definitely one to look out for this 2018 as it elongates the neck and accentuates the right curves of a woman’s bosom. Here are two feminine wedding gowns from Elysian Bridal Couture that exemplify how low necklines work wonders. And don’t worry about showing some skin because you can always find elegant ways to full off a sexy wedding dress.

Intricate Lacework

Lace work will always be scene stealers. This 2018, wedding dresses take lace details to a whole new level! This Vera Wang gown is an example of intricate lace work that is classic and elegant at the same time. Vis-à-vis Bridal tells us that the era of colored wedding dresses has also arrived, making lace wedding gowns even more captivating! This gown has hints of gold and the rest of the collection favors nude, beige, and cream colors. Hong Kong brides will be thrilled that these gowns are taking over.

Without a doubt, this gown by Crystal Design is a feast for the eyes. Elysian Bridal Couture shares that this wedding gown style–fitted and delicately adorned with lace–is a sought-after look among brides. Again, lace proves that it’s here to stay and challenges trends by being a staple favorite and trendsetter. We don’t think we will ever tire of lace, so lace dresses are more than welcome to flood our Pinterest boards this year.

The Tuscan Countryside Makes for the Perfect Setting for This Dreamy Engagement

I am so glad that Binc Photography shared these photos with us, and that I got a glimpse of this pre-wedding shoot! As I was writing this post, I was continuously being tugged at by excitement because the photos were just too beautiful. It must have been the setting, since Tuscany has always been a place I dream of visiting, or probably because the couple looked like total naturals as they posed, or maybe even because the gown by The Wedding Gown, the styling, and photography were so on point? From the rolling hills of the countryside, to the alluring ruins and charming cobble-stoned town, I can’t wait for Yan and Ling’s engagement to take you on a romantic Italian escapade!

How to Choose the Right Wedding Reception Venue

How do you find the perfect wedding reception venue? Every little detail matters, true. But this one detail holds a lot of weight because it plays a huge role in setting the tone of the whole celebration and bringing your dream wedding to life! And as difficult as it sounds, it isn’t, for as long as you know what important details to consider when scouting for a venue. It’s really all about knowing what you want and need, and if the venue can fulfil both. To help you start off, we listed down the top details you should consider when choosing your wedding reception. Of course, there are other matters that you will need to consider apart from these as details vary from wedding to wedding. But essentially, these are enough to give you a good head start. After going through this with a potential venue, you’ll find that you already have an idea if it’s a near fit, or not at all. Read more now!

(1) Does the price range of the venue fit your budget?

First things firsts, check if your venue is within you budget. If it’s not, move on to other options. Or check if you can save in other ways to accommodate a little excess for the venue.

(2) Is the venue aligned with your vision?

Visit your potential venues. Check the layout and the surroundings of the venue to have a better idea if the venue is aligned with the kind wedding you have in mind. Does it go with your theme? Can you further style it to create the look you want? Try to visualize how your wedding will look like in the venue.

(3) Will all your guests fit in the venue?

When choosing your reception venue, you must already have an idea of how many guests you are inviting. Be as realistic as possible so that the venue won’t end up too crowded or to empty, either.
