Living in this bustling metropolis, we always find ourselves with a long list of social events we have to attend. If it’s a weekend, maybe you start out with brunch with friends, then tea with a few of your colleagues, and then a charity fundraising dinner at night. If you’re really unlucky, it would be a weekday where you have to attend a wedding after a long day of work. Days like these are so familiar, and we all know that dreaded short hour we get to touch up on our makeup, get dressed and ready to go for a glamorous evening out. So today, we’ve enlisted the help of the talented Joey Tang of Joman Beauty to show us how to go from drab to soft glam fab in just a few minutes. You better pay attention and take down notes as this might just become a lifesaving skill. This is the very first of our video features, so be sure to subscribe to our spanking new Youtube channel in the process!
When Pantone announced the new colors of the year, we jumped for joy just like the rest of the wedding scene. Go on and say it out loud: Rose quartz and serenity. Even their names are incredibly pretty! Today, Sophia Kwan Photography and Nikkiloveu present us with an editorial patterned after the two dreamy shades. This shoot definitely serves as proof that together, rose quartz and serenity can be the color scheme of dreams. Prepare yourself for something delicate, light, and delightfully princess-like! Our hats are off to Pantone for this perfect match, while our hearts are off to dreamland!
Edgy, a little bit daring, and entirely, intensely beautiful: that’s probably just three of the many ways to describe today’s striking collection by Zuhair Murad. The capes, trains, and the abundance of romantic short numbers are simply stunning. The corsets and creeping floral embroidery look oh-so-divine, I’m sure you’ll find yourselves wanting to reach out and touch everything. This collection really proves why we are obsessed with fashion and why Friday is our favorite swoon day. Enjoy, loves!
I don’t know about you guys, but today’s sudden drop in temperature has got me wishing for a beautiful beach on a tropical island — much like the backdrop of yesterday’s dreamy Phuket wedding. Good news is we get to swoon over this gorgeous celebration for an extra day with Stef and Brian’s super fun wedding video by Daniel Baci! I always love seeing beautiful details in motion, hearing the couple’s heartfelt vows, and getting a glimpse of all the laughter and happy tears. What a truly memorable day this was, so get ready for a tropical treat!

I have a confession for you all today: I was not even four photos into this set before I let out an “Oh, wow.” This wedding in Phuket captured by Darren LeBeuf is truly beautiful beyond words. Stephanie and Brian opted for something laid-back and intimate, and they achieved it was so much grace, class, and fun. The looming rainclouds miraculously left them alone the entire day, and they were even blessed with a double rainbow by the time they had exchanged “I do’s.” And as our bride wisely stated: “Nothing really matters as long as you are getting married to the love of your life.” I think anyone would agree that this is a destination wedding quite magical in every sense of the word. It truly made my day, and I hope it makes yours!
