Mar de Amor

The other day, while I was looking for some inspiration for an upcoming shoot, I stumbled on a gorgeous bridal editorial from the pages of Vogue Mexico featuring Elisabeth Erm by Enrique Vega. I rarely come across bridal editorials that excite me to another level, so I simply had to share it with you guys. Twelve fresh looks — each one unique in and of itself with totally different vibes for different locations. There’s so much to take away from the on-point styling and variety of character in this shoot, so I hope this fills up your inspiration tank for the week like it did mine!

Breathtaking Iceland Elopement

From the very moment you begin looking through these photos from Nordica Photography, you immediately get the feeling you’ll be seeing something different, striking, and quite worthy of storybooks and modern novels alike. It’s all quite magical, really! Sarah and Nick give us a glimpse into their spiritual wedding ceremony, and it’s one of the most intimate things we’ve seen. With just the two of them, the priest, and their photographer, they draw attention to the very purpose of the big day: two people and a consecrated promise. Two elements make it extra special: the dramatic scenery of Iceland and a couple of heart-tugging photographs to dream away with. I’m in love! Have a look, because I think you will be, too.

The Look

Fashion Friday: Limor Rosen Treasure Collection

If I could only use one word to describe today’s Fashion Friday by Limor Rosen, it would definitely be captivating. Gold details, lace, slits, and floating trains are executed in the most elegant of ways, and it’s enough to make you put down whatever you’re doing and just swoon. I must admit, it took me a moment to figure out what this collection reminds me of, and I finally realized it. Each piece seems like something that would be worn by a mysterious angel, or an Olympian goddess! And who doesn’t want to look like that on their wedding day? We’ve made up our mind, and we think you’ll agree: each and every dress is a treasure, indeed!

Bouquet Breakdown: Crimson Red Bouquet

With vibrant and rich shades of red, today’s drop-dead gorgeous bouquet by Ellermann is the epitome of romance. The generous sprinkling of piano garden roses is enough to win me over, but the unexpected touches of skimmia and asparagus ferns just take this arrangement to another level. It’s safe to say that I’m in love!

Vendor Spotlight: BerinMade Designs

Today’s Vendor Spotlight is on a creative paper goods company called BerinMade Designs. Led by husband and wife team, Ben and Erin Hung, BerinMade carries a line of fresh and modern stationery designs that range from ready-to-go sets to semi-custom and fully-custom suites, making it really easy for couples to pick the perfect invitation to represent the most important day of their lives. Their latest ready-to-go wedding collection features four amazing suites: Modern Fairytale, Wildflowers, Orchids, and Tropical Palms. We sat down with the creative genius Erin to find out a little bit more about their product offering and where she draws inspiration from.

1. Tell us a bit about yourself and your company.

We are a boutique stationery company based in London, UK, but we serve a wide range of clients all over the world! I head a small team of designers and we work very close with wedding couples on their stationery, and offer a range of ready-to-go designs as well as a custom service. Our everyday and gifts ranges are can be found in stores across the UK and Europe, including iconic department stores such as Selfridges and Liberty.

2. How did you start BerinMade?

I started with a small collection of mix and match wedding stationery back in 2012 with lots of our now-signature floral swatches and colourful patterns, after quitting my job at an art auction house. I was lucky at the time as my friend and photographer Marianne Taylor was doing an inspiration shoot and needed some stationery, so I sent her some of my samples. The photos eventually were printed in a national magazine which gave us a brilliant head start on our launch.
