Forest Frolic

Home is where the heart is. We’ve probably heard this saying many times before, but in this case it’s not referring to a structure with a roof but rather to Martin and Jaymee who have found home in each other. Their engagement shoot taken in a beautiful outdoor setting is both rustic and sweet. The grasslands combined with leather suitcases, wicker baskets, and lavender sprigs bring their own unique story to life. Special thanks to We Are Origami for these amazing photos. Personally, I think night time photography is one of the most difficult to get right, but the shots of this couple prove to be their best — wrapped in fairy lights and glow-in-the-dark candles show an intimacy that otherwise couldn’t be captured during the day!
