Weddings are a celebration of love, and behind every unforgettable celebration is a team of talented vendors who bring dreams to life. At Bride and Breakfast Hong Kong, we’ve always been passionate about connecting couples with the best in the wedding industry. Now, we’re thrilled to take this commitment to the next level with the launch of our inaugural Hong Kong Wedding Awards—the first and only awards platform of its kind in the city.
The Hong Kong Wedding Awards is a unique initiative designed to recognise and celebrate the exceptional talent, creativity, and dedication of wedding vendors across Hong Kong. What sets these awards apart is our commitment to authenticity and transparency. Unlike the existing awards programs available in Hong Kong, the winners are determined purely by nominations and votes from two key groups: industry peers and newlywed clients.
We believe that those who work within the wedding industry and the couples who’ve experienced these services firsthand are the best judges of excellence. By giving vendors and newlyweds a voice, we’re creating a platform that truly reflects the best of the best in Hong Kong’s wedding scene.
How It Works
The Hong Kong Wedding Awards is a three-step process:
- Initial Nominations: All Bride and Breakfast members and selected featured vendors are invited to nominate their favorite wedding professionals across eight (8) different categories: Best Venue, Best Makeup Artist, Best Photographer, Best Videographer, Best Bridal Salon, Best Stationer, Best Planner, and Best Decorator. They are also invited to nominate their Best Newlywed Couple in the past 18 months, who are then allowed to participate in the vendor nomination process.
- Succeeding Nominations: All succeeding nominated vendors are invited to confirm their participation by submitting their own favorite wedding professionals in the categories listed above, along with a special invitation also extended to their favorite newlywed client.
- Tallying of Votes: All nominations received by confirmed vendors will be tallied as votes. The top vendors are then determined by the highest number of votes collected.
This democratic approach ensures that the awards are a true reflection of the industry’s top talent, as recognized by those who know it best.
