Bouquet Breakdown: Light Pink Bouquet

One of the most important, if not the most important accessory of a bride on her big day has got to be her bouquet. A good wedding bouquet is one that captures the bride’s personality well and also the tone of the whole day. It most certainly can make or break a bride’s look, so it’s very important to know what to ask for in a bouquet. As I’m a bit of a geek when it comes to flowers, we’re going to start our own Bouquet Breakdown series featuring floral creations by local vendors. We hope that this will broaden your knowledge of the types of flowers that are out there and also help you develop your list of favorites.

Today, we put the spotlight on a lovely light pink arrangement by Meadows Flowers and Styling. It’s for the classic, ultra-feminine bride that wants something sophisticated but unique. If you ask me, my favorite element has got to be the Pieris japonica — it adds subtle drama and gives the bouquet an interesting shape. What about you? Let us know in the comments!
